From The Director's Message

Dear Parents,

Welcome to The Holy Cross International School,

"Do not go where the path may lead; Go instead where there is no path, and leave a trail." (R.W. Emerson) These are prophetic words, but can be hard to live upto. It is all too easy to play safe & go with the flow. We have to reflect carefully on whether we are using our intellectual, physical & creative powers to the full to make a real difference to our lives as individuals and to the communities in which we live.

The core objectives at The Holy Cross International School, is the ambition that every student has the opportunity to experience success. Whether in sports, enrichment or the curriculum, students are nurtured, to develop self confidence & obtain citizenship training, through:

1 A school community, committed to development of staff & students by embracing leadership opportunities.

2 Towards making maximum progress as a result of consistently high standards of teaching & learning.

3 Maintaining a curriculum which provides all students with the skills & knowledge to facilitate a love of lifelong learning & the motivation to realize their potential as active citizens in an ever changing world.

4 Facilities designed & planned to meet the needs of the school community and provide opportunities to enrich and enhance learning.

5 The development of an extended school, working in partnership to meet the needs of the wider community.

We want all our students to encounter formative experiences through their education in academics. These in-turn will lead them to question, to make decisions and to act vigorously, both as individuals and through their engagement with others, including the environment.

The only way to get a genuine feel for what we believe in and what we do, is to visit and meet the people who form the heart and spine of the school.
